ABOUT ME
I am a licensed psychotherapist and psychoanalyst-in-training in New York City. I specialize in depression and anxiety, with particular sensitivity to concerns related to identity, belonging, and trauma.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
I received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Chicago and a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University. My clinical experience includes providing psychotherapy in community-based nonprofits, outpatient hospital clinics, and group practice settings. I am also in postgraduate training at the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research as a candidate in the Program in Adult Psychoanalysis.
APPROACH
My approach is psychoanalytic and trauma-informed. In therapy, you will be invited to share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. We will work together to notice and cultivate curiosity about your ways of being and relating, including how these patterns are expressed in the therapeutic relationship. Over time, this process of shared exploration yields insight and can help you access a greater sense of recognition, self-acceptance, and agency.
